Dr Henk Jan Out is a highly experienced pharmaceutical physician and has worked for 30 years in the pharmaceutical industry. He wrote (in Dutch): \u201cHurray for medicines!<\/a> On the merits of the pharmaceutical industry\u201d (Prometheus, Amsterdam, September, 2016). Its publication received a lot of attention from the media<\/a>. His expertise includes medicines in the broadest sense of the word, on which he publishes<\/a>, tweets<\/a> and blogs<\/a>. <\/div>\n

He was accountable for the global clinical research and development of new medicines at the former Dutch pharmaceutical company Organon. From 2010 to 2015 he also held an honorary professorship on pharmaceutical medicine at the Radboud University Medical Centre in Nijmegen<\/a>, the Netherlands. For Ferring Pharmaceuticals<\/a>\u00a0he worked in Copenhagen as VP Reproductive Medicine R&D<\/em> and in Shanghai as Chief Scientific Officer Asia-Pacific<\/em>. Currently he is active as consultant<\/a> and host at the podcast Leaders in Life Sciences<\/a>.
